Sculptural table lamps: three lamps that look good even when they are off

An object by day, mood light in the evening. Three table lamps with a distinctive shape that we added to the shop this autumn.

A lamp is off sixteen hours a day. That is a good reason to choose one that adds something even then. This autumn we are seeing more and more lamps that look more like a small sculpture than a lamp. Three we would happily have at home.

The stacked one: calm as a stone cairn

Two round shapes on top of each other, with a fabric shade. It is reminiscent of stones someone has stacked on the beach. Lovely on a bedside table or in a bookcase.

The wooden one: warm and with a timer

A wooden base with a soft shade. This one has a built-in timer, so it switches on by itself. Handy on a windowsill: your home looks lived-in even if you come home later.

The ceramic one: large and classic

A generous ceramic base with a pleated shade. On a sideboard or console it gives a room a bit of a country-house feel, without becoming old-fashioned.
